Description
SUNBIRD is hull #5 of the popular Bordeaux 60 series in which 45 units were built by CNB in Bordeaux, France. Designed by Philippe Briand as a fast and safe family cruising yacht, she excels in her design brief. This particular example has been in private ownership since new and never chartered. Her current owner purchased her in 2020 and has enjoyed several seasons on board in the Mediterranean cruising with family. She is well equipped with full compliment of domestic equipment as well as a generator and a water maker which was replaced in 2023. Her systems have been regularly maintained and replaced as necessary. The full list of inventory and works carried out can be seen in the detailed spec below.
The all furling rig is a joy to sail with an in-boom furling solution. The standing rigging was replaced in 2019 and the mast was repainted at the same time. Her current owner has undertaken a slight modification to the saloon, installing a removable dining table and deepening the seats of all sofa. It is a great utilisation of space creating a social and comfortable environment adjacent to the functional open plan galley. SUNBIRD is available immediately, lying in Cap d'Agde, France. Viewings are unreservedly recommended.
