Lagoon 52 S

€1.100.000 EU VAT not paid

TWENDE is an outstanding example of 52 SporTop built by CNB Yacht Builders in Bordeaux, France. She was the 19th of 20 to be built by Lagoon. The 52 SporTop has gained an enviable reputation as a capable and comfortable platform for long-term cruising. You will find a wealth of independent blogs and information on-line extolling the model’s virtues. TWENDE’s specification is perfectly conceived for a world cruise but is equally suited to exploring secluded anchorages closer to home. The deck layout, helm position and rig plan make her safe and easy to handle short-handed as well as delivering great sailing performance. Her four-cabin layout allows an extremely generous owner’s suite, a VIP suite with separate access from the cockpit and proper doubles cabins forward with en-suites. TWENDE can be handled by a family crew but has the generous accommodation to share your experiences with family and friends as well as the ability to carry all the accessories needed to make your cruise special. A change of plans results in a fantastic opportunity to acquire a fabulous catamaran for early delivery.

In the words of Lagoon, "The Lagoon 52, marks a whole new era in the design of cruising catamarans, as indeed did its predecessor, the famed Lagoon 500. With its diamond-shaped vertical bows, bevelled hulls, it’s as if levitated deckhouse and tall rig, the Lagoon 52 is no ordinary catamaran, but its originality goes a great deal further than just its "outer" appearance, or even its interior layout. This Lagoon is the result of lengthy discussions between the architects at Van Peteghem-Lauriot Prévost (VPLP), the Italian Nauta Design agency and the Lagoon design department. These discussions led us to make some important and sometimes radical choices, while remaining faithful to what we believe in, in terms of elegance, comfort, safety, user friendliness and, it goes without saying, performance under sail. The 52 S has a completely new deck design. It has been specially developed for those owners who want closer contact between the helm station and the cockpit."
