CONSTRUCTION

Built by Fountaine Pajot in France to a Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design design

Composite balsa glass polyester sandwich (infusion process for the hull, injection for the coachroof and deck)

Inverted bows give a modern and elegant silhouette to the Isla 40

Square top mainsail and overlapping genoa give this catamaran a generous sail area

Sociable helm area which offers an excellent view of water and sails while remaining connected to the cockpit

Easily handled short-handed from this position

Safe movement around the deck is helped by wide side-decks, flush hatches and handrails on the coachroof
